Time, Treasure, Talent: Blessings That Teach Us Financial Stewardship

In a meaningful step toward empowering future leaders, VP Anthony Cloys, with the support of VP Leonil Seneca and SD Jason Rex Cuaton, launched a financial literacy initiative for AUSA’s leadership team. This endeavor is more than just numbers—it’s about building a life rooted in stewardship, purpose, and faith.

With guidance from our Mission Leader—whose past experience as a bank manager brought invaluable insights—attendees gained a deeper understanding of the financial challenges many BPO employees face. From relocation costs to mounting debt, the session shed light on common struggles and introduced practical solutions. Key topics included budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding the psychology behind money management. But beyond personal finance, the conversation also explored the ripple effects of financial wellness: improved morale, loyalty, job satisfaction, and overall personal growth.

True to our identity as a faith-based company, the Mission Leader wove in Biblical principles that brought a deeper layer of reflection. Through the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), leaders were challenged to consider how they steward the three blessings God entrusts us with—Time, Treasure, and Talent.

They reflected on how much time they dedicate to their Provider and to serving others. They considered how to wisely manage their financial and material treasures, not only for their future but as a means to give back. And as team leaders, they were encouraged to share their talents and develop others, multiplying what God has given them.

The heart of the message was this: we are blessed to be a blessing. Paying it forward—giving selflessly and serving others—is a powerful way to honor God’s provision. True financial stability isn’t about wealth alone, but contentment, generosity, and purpose.

As the Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:12–13:

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty... I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”

We were also reminded of the source of it all in Deuteronomy 8:18:

“But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”

Indeed, God has blessed us with meaningful work, generous compensation, and the strength to do it all for His glory. May we continue to be faithful stewards of our Time, Treasure, and Talent—living with purpose, gratitude, and a heart to bless others.
