As our Chairman, Brian Heiner, emphasized during our 2024 Year-End Party—*"We Care, We Care, We Care"—*VSS immediately took action to prioritize the well-being of our employees. On January 16, 2025, the Annual Physical Examination (APE) was officially rolled out, bringing healthcare services right to our doorstep.
With mobile clinics, doctors, and nurses on-site, employees no longer need to take leave or wait in long lines at public clinics or hospitals. To accommodate our growing workforce, we have also expanded our healthcare laboratory partners, ensuring seamless and accessible health screenings for everyone.
The APE plays a vital role in maintaining our employees' overall health by enabling early detection and prevention of potential health issues. This initiative not only helps fulfill company and regulatory health requirements but also fosters a safe and healthy workplace where employees receive the necessary medical guidance to stay fit and productive.
Beyond physical health, VSS takes a holistic approach to employee well-being. The office of the Mission Leader/Corporate Chaplain remains open for counseling sessions, offering support for emotional concerns, mental health challenges, and more.
This initiative truly reflects VSS' commitment to valuing our people’s health and well-being, ensuring they feel safe and supported. As the scripture says in Jeremiah 33:6, "Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security."
