Last February 28, 2026, our VSS Gen San team, led by Site Director Aries Velasco and VP Jitendra Chetrri, carried out a meaningful outreach to the Maria Goretti Home for Girls—a residential care facility that serves as a safe haven for young girls who have experienced poverty, neglect, abuse, abandonment, and other challenging life circumstances. More than providing a place of refuge, the institution is committed to restoring each girl’s dignity through emotional healing, spiritual formation, and renewed hope for the future.

With hearts aligned to this same mission, the VSS Gen San team chose to bless the home with essential goods and hygiene kits, meeting both practical and immediate needs. Beyond the donations, the visit became a powerful moment of connection as our volunteers shared a meal and meaningful fellowship with the girls. Through conversations, shared stories, and heartfelt testimonies, our team was given the privilege of becoming instruments of God’s love—bringing encouragement, joy, and reassurance that each life is deeply valued.

Moments like these remind us that our calling goes beyond the workplace. As a faith-based organization, we are entrusted not only with tasks and targets but with the opportunity to reflect Christ in every community we serve. The smiles, laughter, and restored hope witnessed that day affirmed that even the simplest acts of kindness can create a lasting impact in someone’s life. Truly, when we choose to give, we become part of God’s greater work of healing and restoration.

As we continue to live out our mission, may we always remember that every act of compassion carries eternal significance. In reaching out to these young girls, we are planting seeds of hope that will grow into brighter futures—proof that love, when expressed through action, can transform lives. Let us remain steadfast in being channels of God’s grace, knowing that what we do for others, we ultimately do for Him.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
