There’s no better way to end a busy and demanding week than by gathering with colleagues for a fellowship breakfast, setting aside stress to enjoy food, friendship, and laughter.
On February 15, 2025, the Management Teams of Tacloban HQ and Himalayan celebrated Valentine’s Day in a truly special way—with a breakfast date with the Lord Jesus Christ. Over coffee, doughnuts, and bread, they had the chance to connect more deeply, uncovering fun facts about one another and even discovering hidden comedic talents.
Beyond the fun and laughter, the group received God’s message of hope and rest through the Mission Leader. In the midst of life’s challenges—whether at work or home—the Lord offers peace, comfort, and renewal. As colleagues shared their testimonies, tears of joy and relief were met with encouragement and support, making the experience even more meaningful. It was a day filled with hope, love, and inspiration—so much so that everyone wanted more.
In response, these faith-based small group discussions will now be expanded across sites, departments, and all levels because God’s invitation to an intimate relationship with Him is for everyone. As He promises in His Word:
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
— Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)
