VSS is honored to collaborate with Harvesters Ministries in their global mission to plant churches and train pastors. With a presence in 97 countries and over 131,000 churches planted, Harvesters Ministries is working on their vision—1 million churches and 1 million trained pastors by 2030. As they begin their mission in the Philippines, VSS has committed to supporting this initiative, recognizing the urgent need for evangelical churches across the country. Out of 42,000 barangays, 23,000 remain unreached.

On January 27, 2025, the first of five training streams was launched in Cebu City, where 100 HUB leaders gathered to begin the mission. Cebu was chosen as an initial site due to its 4.2 million population, with 752 barangays lacking churches.
The subsequent training streams were held in:
✅ Leyte (Hilongos) – 65 HUB leaders committed to the mission. With a 4.5 million population, 3,133 barangays still lack churches.
✅ CARAGA Region (Mindanao) – 92 HUB leaders commissioned. The region has 8 million people, but 1,848 barangays remain without churches.
✅ Cagayan (Northern Luzon) – 80 HUB leaders joined the mission. Despite a 1.3 million population, 363 barangays have no churches.
✅ Metro Manila – 145 HUB leaders committed to serving. While home to 13.5 million people, 1,020 barangays are still unreached.
This first wave has mobilized a total of 482 HUB leaders to bring the Gospel to communities across the Philippines.
As a faith-based company, VSS believes in living out the Gospel Experience, embodying faith, love, and service to the people God loves. We stand firm in the Lord’s Great Commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
This is only the beginning of a movement that will change lives and transform communities.
